What’s the little plaque in the cockpit- BBMF crest? Squadron badge?

Not sure. It says what type of aircraft it is. I am down to ARCo Monday and will have a look unless one of the BBMF guys has an answer first.

No. The rudder is staying the same. The big one is better for crosswinds so less restrictive crosswind limits.

Ready for stripping

MK356 today. She is getting the paint stripped off over the weekend back to bare metal.

Anybody know the progress on Tom Blairs mk ix which is being overhauled at arco?

Very nice cant wait too see it in its new colours scheme 😎 Just wondering was this Spitfire out much at all for the Airshow season? And when is the Dakota ZA947 have maintenance or has it already been looked at ?

MK356 flew just over 31 hrs this season. The Dak had a Minor servicing in 2005/06. It has an annual servicing at BBMF.

I think Fluffy’s post from a few weeks back might give a hint!
