Auster J-1 Parts needed.

Hi Guys
My16 year old son, Max, is just starting a static Auster J-1 restoration / rebuild at Bruntingthorpe, Leicestershire. He literaly has just a bare fuselage frame (no fin) and a rudder.

Does anyone have any damaged, unserviceable or just plain unwanted Auster J-1, parts or information / drawings etc they dont need?
I know its a lot to ask, but if we don’t try, we will never know!

We have very limited funds, and at the moment, no Auster parts to swap. We can however offer to personaly show people around the aircraft at Bruntingthorpe, and could even offer to let you sit in on a Jet Provost Mk-3A engine / slow taxi run (at your own risk!).

You would be helping to let a very keen young enthusiast get some valuable expirience in rebuilding a traditional “rag and tube” airframe.

Many thanks,
Ritch and Max Blood.

Thought it would be worth asking one more time!
