Silent witness BBC 1 now walking round Duxford

It was filmed at last years autumn air day. It looked as if half the BBC was camped out on site. There were loads of signs telling people to approach a Beeb member of staff if they didnt want to be on camera when they were filming crowd scenes. I wondered what they were filming at the time.

Nice film of a Jet Provost taking off and the 2 DC-4s sat outside its hangar proved it was North Weald.

Well that’s knocked any chance of my wife ever coming to an airshow with me on the head!
Not because of the safety issues, just because she knows darn well I would be wandering round with a stupid grin on my face at all the boys’ toys, like a much less good looking version of Harry.
1st day out me and my girl friend had was to Cosford, she instantly picked up my love for aircraft, her 2 year old daughter even sits on my lap now looking at Flypast and AFM 😀

Yeah I saw, dangerous filming drama with the general public around – they all look at the camera!
Where was the pub where they met at the end?
