6th Weapons Squadron reactivated
Seen at Nellis earlier this year, F-35A 12-5051 ‘WA/USAFWS’ is marked as the Weapons School commander’s aircraft. Nate Leong THE UNITED States Air Force Weapons School (USAFWS) at Nellis AFB, Nevada reactivated the 6th Weapons Squadron (WPS) June 20. The unit is scheduled to be equipped with 24 assigned F-35As and 30 instructors by 2023, making it the Weapons School’s largest squadron.
