TECHNICAL DETAILS| AVRO TUDOR Tudors in production at Woodford in 1946, when prospects for the aircraft still seemed bright. AEROPLANE The Tudor’s circular fuselage was a conventional, all-metal semi-monocoque structure of 10ft (3m) diameter, formed from channel-section frames with stringers bolted directly to them.
