TECHNICAL DETAILS FAIREY ROTODYNE The first prototype aircraft under construction at Fairey’s Hayes, Middlesex, plant in January 1956. AEROPLANE An innovative design it may have been, but in terms of its main structure the Fairey Rotodyne was essentially conventional.
