The package sports a brand-new aerodynamics engine built with the Accu-Sim 2.0 'Merlin' technology, resulting in highly accurate flight dynamics based on extensive testing using A2A's real-world Comanche 250, N6229P. It also comes with dynamic ground physics with a true weight-on-wheels simulation and tire side-loading that is affected by different ground surface types.

The cockpit can be retrofitted with the GNS 430W/530W GPS or the GTN 750.

The Comanche also features an accurate simulation of the Lycoming O-540 engine with an authentic fuel system with primer, strainers and fuel contamination. A custom oil system models dynamic viscosity and contaminants that degrade and change the colour of the oil.

An advanced wing flex simulation is based on turbulence strength, ground bumps and fuel load with airframe and engine vibration effects. Additionally, a physics-driven sound environment features over a thousand dynamic sound effects.

The cockpit sports 3D gauges with needle-smoothing physics, an advanced simulation of the S-TEC autopilot, custom-coded Narco avionics and a JPI EDM 830 engine monitor stack with accurate leaning procedures. Support for Working Title's GNS 430W/530W GPS units and PMS GTN 750 and TDS GTN 750Xi are also included. A custom lighting model features dimmable and directable Type C-4A cockpit lights, emissive indicator lamps and white and red lighting options.

The Comanche features various animations such as the doors, tie-downs and chocks.

Finally, a cockpit tablet features a real-time load manager with a dynamic weight and balance indicator along with an engine status and electrical system analyser with circuit breaker functionality. Other details include an interactive walk-around feature with many moving parts that can be inspected, a persistent failure and wear simulation and animated passengers and pilots.

The Accu-Sim Comanche is available on A2A's website for $49.99.
