A320 came within SIX FEET of terrain during Paris approach

An Airbus A320 escaped colliding with terrain by just 6ft (1.8m) while attempting to land at Paris/Charles de Gaulle, a preliminary report by French investigators has found. The Airhub Airlines narrowbody, 9H-EMU (c/n 1087), was performing a scheduled flight between Stockholm/Arlanda and the French capital on May 23. Before descent, the flight crew – which comprised a captain who was pilot flying (PF) and a co-pilot as pilot monitoring (PM) – prepared for a RNP approach with LNAV/VNAV minima to
