AAIB releases eVTOL VA-1X Kemble accident report

On May 2, 2024 the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) published a report into the August 9, 2023 accident involving Vertical Aerospace VA-1X G-EVTL at Cotswold Airport (Kemble) in Gloucestershire. The accident flight was the 22nd flight in G-EVTL’s test programme. It aimed to investigate one engine inoperative performance during hover.
