AAIB report on Ryanair Boeing 737's steep descent at Stansted
The UK’s Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has released a report into an incident where the crew of a Ryanair Boeing 737 pushed the aircraft into a steep descent after breaching an altitude clearance limit while discontinuing an approach to London/Stansted. The incident, which occurred on December 4, 2023, involved five-year-old Boeing 737 MAX 8-200, EI-HET (c/n 62310). In addition to the crew of four, the airliner had 122 passengers on board.
