Aero Legends’ Douglas DC-3 Dakota KP220 is lodging with the BBMF at Coningsby Lincolnshire this winter
The BBMF noted: “While our Dakota, ZA947, is away for maintenance [with Duxford’s Aircraft Restoration Company] we will be hosting the Aero Legends’ Dakota to help with storage. In return, our crews will be able to train in KP220 before they begin flying in the Lancaster for the 2023 season.”

KP220 (G-ANAF) has joined the Aero Legends fleet in June 2019 and has been a popular part of its magnificent fleet ever since. It has previously been owned by Air Atlantique, among others.
