Scenery developer Aviation-Sim-Design has released Airfield Kyritz for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Kyritz Airfield, near Berlin close to the Baltic Sea, is a popular general aviation airport with a variety of gliders, motor gliders, ultralights and powered aircraft. It features modern airfield lighting, which allows night flying operations.

The package from Aviation-Sim-Design features faithfully recreated the airport with actual runway, taxiway and stand layouts, signage, realistic night lighting and animations with dynamic changes depending on the time of day. For example, train traffic, vehicles, hangar gates, people, aircraft, awnings, lawn mowers etc. It also comes with detailed buildings with hangar interiors, PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects throughout and static aircraft.

Both the airfield and surrounding area feature aerial imagery with realistic vegetation, roads and terrain elevation. Other highlights include a model of KMG hospital Kyritz with a landable helipad and VFR objects, including transmission masts, AGRAVIS silos, road patrol depot and the solar park.
