Aerosoft has announced Sandnessjøen-Stokka Airport in northern Norway is now available for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Nestled in between 4 national parks and a short hop from Lofoten Stokka is the perfect base for the adventurous aviator.

Explore the Seven sister’s mountain range or set course for Børgefjell and spend the day exploring the high summits, deep valleys, wild rapids and expansive moors.

The package from Aerosoft features highly detailed models for all airport buildings, including a highly detailed interior for the departure hall, entrance area and tower. Realistic night lighting and PBR (Physically Based Rendering) textures are used throughout.

Other highlights include custom ground textures, a grooved runway and accurate taxiway, runway along with approach lighting and VOR/localizer equipment. Additionally, the surrounding area features reworked terrain with custom buildings and vegetation.
