Air Astana adapts A321LR
Modifications to Air Astana’s Airbus A321LRs have allowed the carrier to restart direct flights to London.Air Astana has started modification work to its fleet of Airbus A321LRs, allowing it to resume non-stop flights from its Almaty International Airport base to London/Heathrow from October 4. In partnership with Airbus, the Kazakh national carrier first installed an additional fuel tank to EI-KGF (c/n 10427). Air Astana currently operates 12 of the long-range A321neos.
