Air Force Special Operations Command names the OA-1K as the Skyraider II
Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) has announced that the L3 Harris OA-1K had been named the Skyraider II. The announcement was made on February 27, 2025 by Lieutenant General Michael Conley (the commander of AFSOC) at the Global SOF Foundation’s Special Air Warfare Symposium, held at Fort Walton Beach in Florida over three days from February 25.
