Airlines hail ‘landmark day’ as UK moves to scrap Covid travel testing
The decision to remove post-arrival Covid testing requirements for fully vaccinated passengers arriving in England has been welcomed by UK airlines. Transport secretary Grant Shapps announced in a statement to the House of Commons this afternoon, that from 4am on February 11, eligible fully vaccinated passengers landing in the country will no longer be required to take a day two lateral flow test.
