AMAC appoints new president and CEO

The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) has appointed Eboni Wimbush its president and CEO effective later this month.

Wimbush most recently served as the deputy director of the Baltimore City Mayor’s Office of Children & Family Success, where, among other things, she led the agency’s contracting, human resources, grant compliance and equity strategy. Previously, Wimbush served as chief of staff at Baltimore City Department of Transportation, where she was responsible for the Office of Communications, the Office of Legislative Affairs and External Affairs. Additionally, she served as a key advisor to the director in overseeing the day-to-day management, operations, and performance activities of the agency’s 1,250 employees and $250m budget.

Prior to joining Baltimore City and over a span of two decades, Wimbush held leadership roles with Fortune 500 companies including FedEx Corporation, Johnson Controls and Siemens.

AMAC is the only US non-profit trade association dedicated to advancing the participation of minorities and women in employment and contracting opportunities throughout the aviation and aerospace industries.
