American Airlines returns to Edinburgh and adds four new European routes
American Airlines is expanding its long-haul network in 2025 with new daily services to Europe for the summer season.The carrier has announced that from March 30 it will start a Chicago-Madrid route; from May 23 Philadelphia-Edinburgh and Philadelphia-Milan/Malpensa; Charlotte-Athens commences on June 5 and Miami-Rome/Fiumicino from July 5.Boeing 777-200s will be used for the flights to Athens and Rome and 787-9 Dreamliners on those to Edinburgh, Madrid and Milan.
