Saudi low-cost carrier flynas has signed a follow-on order with Airbus for a further 30 A320neo family aircraft.

The commitment announced at the Paris Air Show, increases the airline’s total order with the European manufacturer to 120 aircraft, including 10 A321XLRs.

Airbus’ chief commercial officer and head of international, Christian Scherer, continued: “Unbeatable economics, longer range capability and the most spacious single aisle cabin have made the A320neo Family the preferred choice of airlines worldwide. That includes in the low-cost sector, where carriers operate in especially competitive environments. The Riyadh-based budget carrier was the first in Saudi Arabia to operate the A320neo, and now has a fleet of 32 examples alongside 13 previous-generation A320ceos and four A330-300 widebodies.
