The Microsoft Flight Simulator development team has announced the next aircraft in the Famous Flyer series the Ukrainian-built An-2 is out now.

The Antonov An-2 is known for its exceptional STOL (Short Take-Off and Landing) performance and high payload capability. With large wings and leading-edge slats, pilots report being able to maintain controlled flight as slow as 32 mph.

The AN-2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, developed by AT Simulations, is an authentic recreation of the actual aircraft with accurate systems modelling and animations.

The package sports four variants, each one with 4K liveries:

• Fixed undercarriage with analogue gauges
• Fixed wheel version with a modern GPS
• A float version with analogue gauges
• Ski variant with analogue gauges.

The An-2 is available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator in-game marketplace for $14.99.
