Arkia starts New York service
Arkia Israeli Airlines began thrice-weekly flights between Tel Aviv/Ben Gurion and New York/JFK on February 8, with services currently scheduled through to June 29. The link is a collaboration between the airline and TechAir, an alliance of entrepreneurs and technology investors – a not-for-profit initiative which “aims to restore open skies for Israel, offering practical and cost-effective solutions to the scarcity of flights to the United States”.
