Bahrain’s first F-16C/D Block 70s on delivery
The first three F-16C/D Block 70 Fighting Falcon multi-role fighters for the Royal Bahraini Air Force (RBAF) departed Lockheed Martin’s production facility in Greenville, South Carolina, on their delivery flight to Shaikh Isa Air Base, Bahrain, on March 6.Accompanied by a pair of USAF-operated KC-135R Stratotankers, the three fighters – comprising two single-seat F-16C Block 70s (1603 and 1605) and one dual-seat F-16D Block 70 (1612) – departed Greenville and completed an overnight transatlantic ferry flight to Morón Air Base
