El Prat is Spain's second-busiest airport, serving as a gateway to the Catalonia region and offering connections across Europe and international destinations. Terminal 1 is noted for its modern architecture and range of services, including shopping and dining, while Terminal 2 caters to domestic and low-cost flights.

The package for MSFS is a lifelike recreation of Barcelona Airport, including handcrafted 3D models of all airport buildings, jetways and facilities, along with a detailed terminal interior.
