Basler completes 70th DC-3 conversion
The 70th Douglas DC-3/C-47 variant to be upgraded by Basler Turbo Conversions was rolled out at the firm’s Wittman, Wisconsin base on February 14. Basler, which takes viable airframes and rebuilds them as BT-67s with 1,424hp Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-67R turboprops, ferried N856RB to Tullahoma in Tennessee for a private client.
