BBMF Griffon-powered Spitfire back in the air

The RAF Battle of Britain Memorial Flight returned Supermarine Spitfire PR.XIX PM631 to the air on October 3 following extensive maintenance and a detailed safety assessment. The Griffon-powered fighter was making its first flight since 2021.
