BELGIAN SEA KING RETIRES

THE BELGIAN AIR Component and 40 Squadron retired the last of five Westland Sea King Mk48 helicopters — serial RS-05 — on March 21, 2019 at Koksijde air base, after 43 years of service. RS-05 landed and presented commemorative _ ags on each of 10 beaches along the Belgian coastline, starting with Knokke in the east and ending at Koksijde in the west. Returning to Koksijde, RS-05 was then joined by a German Navy Sea King Mk41A from Marine_ iegergeschwader
