The Kent-based attraction has announced the latest in its series of themed hangar tours

Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar will host a US-themed tour on April 30. For a ticket price of £49 enthusiasts can join its knowledgeable guides for up close viewing and discussion of some famous warplanes and vehicles ‘from across the pond’, including:

1944 Curtiss P-40 Warhawk

1944 P-51D Mustang WD-C (note – the Mustang’s participation is subject to weather conditions)

1953 Cessna Bird Dog 01-G

1943 L4H Grasshopper/Cub

Willys Jeep

Harley Davidson WLA motorcycle

The tour lasts for two hours with numbers limited to just 10 places on each session. There will also be a special ‘Icons of the Battle of Britain’ aircraft tour on March 5, featuring close-up access to a Spitfire Mk.I, Hurricane and a Messerschmitt Bf 109E.
