Black Square's TBM 850 is one of the more technically advanced aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator with highly realistic systems and nearly 100 possible failures, including new turbine engine failures, hot-swappable radio configurations and an advanced pressurisation and cabin temperature simulation.
The failure system additionally allows for persistent wear, MTBF (Meant Time Between Failures) and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft, many with multiple failure modes.

The aircraft boasts radio navigation systems from several eras of its history, so it can be flown without GPS via a Bendix KNS-80 RNAV system or with a modern Garmin GTN 750 (PMS50 or TDS). Other radio equipment includes EFS 40 EADI & EHSI, KX-155 NAV/COM radios, dual GNS 530, KR 87 ADF, KDI 572 DME, GTX 327 transponder and a Bendix RDR1150XL weather radar. The 3D gauges are all modelled and coded to match their real-world counterparts with reference to aircraft manuals.

Other highlights include custom 3D sounds, accurate flight dynamics, a 100+ page manual and interactive in-game checklists for normal and emergency procedures. The TBM is available on Just Flight's website for £29.99.
