Blackbushe Viking forging ahead
In mid-February at Blackbushe, Surrey, Vickers Viking G-AGRW Vagabond — which arrived by road from Bad Vöslau, Austria on 2 May 2023 — logged 2,500 hours of restoration work by members of the Blackbushe Heritage Trust. No fewer than 130 volunteers are led by seven trustees, with the steadfast support of Blackbushe Airport management. In charge is crew chief Phil Stonard, and not a single Wednesday or Saturday morning has passed throughout the freezing winter weather without the team working
