The updated version also adds more detailed textures with effects such as dust rivets, scratches and dirt. Other highlights include new vibration effects for increased immersion, particularly in VR and several bugs have been fixed, along with improvements to the flight dynamics.
The Nimbus BN-2B Islander features an accurate flight model based on real-world performance charts and a detailed 3D model with 4K textures and PBR effects. It also sports custom 3D sounds, night lightning and visual ice buildup on the airframe.
A menu system can be used to set the weight and balance, view performance charts, operate the doors or configure ground equipment such as wheel chocks, engine/pitot covers and control locks. Additionally, the maintenance module enables you to set the aircraft to require servicing with the mechanical components degrading over time.
The package includes both X-Plane 12 and X-Plane 11 compatibility. It is available on x-plane.org for $34.95
