Boeing awarded production contract for new RAF Chinooks
Boeing has received a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract to provide 14 new H-47 Extended Range (ER) Chinook heavy-lift tactical transport helicopters for the Royal Air Force (RAF). The delivery order, valued at US$580.59m, was awarded to the US-based manufacturer on June 22 by US Special Operations Command.
