Boeing bags $9bn 737 MAX order from start-up Akasa Air
In a boost for Boeing, on day three of the Dubai Airshow, the airframer landed a large order for 737 MAXs from Indian start-up carrier Akasa Air. The deal – which is valued at $9bn based on list prices – will see the new airline take 72 examples. The agreement covers both the 737-8 and high capacity -8-200.
