Boeing outlines Farnborough displays

The US airframer will be showing off its latest commercial jets at 2022’s biggest trade show

Boeing has outlined its plans for the Farnborough Airshow next week detailing the types and numbers of aircraft it plans to bring to the Hampshire trade show.

The Boeing 737 MAX 10 will make its international debut at the event, joining the 777X in both the static line and the daily flying display. The two jets will head across the pond powered by a blend of sustainable aviation fuel. The airliners will be present until the Thursday and Wednesday show days, respectively.

The US airframer – alongside its joint venture partner Kittyhawk Aircraft, formed by Google co-founder Larry Page – will also be championing electric propulsion with the European debut of Wisk Aero’s Cora unmanned eVTOL air taxi.

Sir Michael Arthur, president of Boeing International said: "In the four years since the last Farnborough Airshow, the world has seen the critical social and economic role that aerospace and defence plays. We are excited to reconnect with our colleagues at Farnborough as we address together the need for a more sustainable future and take concrete steps to enable innovation and clean technology. We look forward to sharing the progress we are making.".
