BREAKING: British Airways owner seals deal for up to 150 MAXs
The parent company behind some of the biggest names in European aviation has inked a blockbuster deal to buy dozens of Boeing narrowbodies. International Airlines Group (IAG) confirmed on Thursday morning that it had finalised negotiations with the American OEM for up to 150 Boeing 737 MAX jets. The purchase, which remains subject to formal approval by IAG shareholders, is a firm order plus options for both the 737-8-200 and larger 737-10 aircraft, powered by CFM International LEAP-1B engines.
