BREAKING: More US F-35 squadrons for UK

UPDATE: Key.Aero reveals the facts behind President Biden's F-35 announcement at the NATO Summit in Madrid.

At the NATO Summit in Madrid Spain today (June 29, 2022) US President Joe Biden revealed a range of measures to bolster US forces in Europe in light of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

One of these was the announcement by the President that "...we are going to send two additional F-35 squadrons to the UK...".

Information released later in the day by the US Department of Defense stated: "In the United Kingdom, we are increasing our Fifth Generation Fighter presence and ability to support Allies across Europe by forward-stationing two squadrons of F-35s at RAF Lakenheath."
