British Airways slashes long-haul schedule
British Airways has been forced to cut hundreds of long-haul flights this winter due to ongoing issues with the Rolls-Royce Trent 1000 engines that power its Boeing 787 Dreamliner fleet. The changes to its schedule include delaying its long-awaited return to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur. BA had originally planned to resume direct flights from London/Heathrow on November 1 using its 787-9s. This has now been delayed until April 2025.Other routes from London/Heathrow that will see a reduction in frequencies
