Bruntingthorpe Cold War Jets Museum is welcoming visitors to the first collection wide event, on April 29

Following nearly three years of closure to visitors, the group would like to welcome all of its supporters old and new to be part of this event. With the move to the new location, situated around the Lightning QRA Sheds, it is able to host its first Cold War Jets event.

Over the course of the event on Saturday, April 29, it will be conducting static power demonstrations of Canberra WT333, Venom 'WR470', Meteor NF11 WM167, Hunter GA11 WT306, and either Lightning F6 XR728 or XS904.

Other attractions will include open cockpits on other aircraft in the collection, photography opportunities, a chance to take part in a sealed bid auction (top prize is sitting in the backseat of the Meteor during the static engine power display). There will also be a Falklands living history display, merchandise, plus hot food and drinks available.
