Buffalo Airways’ long-awaited Boeing 737 departs on delivery

Buffalo Airways' first-ever jet, a Boeing 737-301(BDSF), departed on delivery to Canada today. The 737 freighter, 2-ESKA (c/n 23512) left Bournemouth Airport en route to Keflavik Airport, Iceland and is then to fly to Iqaluit International Airport in Canada where it is due to night stop. On August 3, the aircraft is planned to head to Edmonton International Airport. This Boeing 737-300 started life as a passenger aircraft entering service in 1986 with Piedmont Airlines. It also flew passengers for
