Catalina to visit Scotland to honour VC pilots
To commemorate the 80th anniversary of two Catalina pilots being awarded the Victoria Cross in 1944, PBY-5A Catalina, G-PBYA, is to visit a number of locations in Scotland.What has been dubbed Operation Shetland is to honour Flt Lt David Hornell of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and the RAF’s Flt Lt John Cruickshank.
