Cathay Cargo adds A350F
The Cathay Group has ordered six new Airbus A350Fs to join the airline’s cargo division, Cathay Cargo, with the right to acquire 20 more aircraft. The freighters are expected to arrive from 2027. Cathay Cargo currently has a fleet of 20 Boeing 747 freighters, consisting of 14 747-8Fs examples and six 747-400ERFs.The airframes will serve heavy cargo markets, including the world’s biggest freight route between Hong Kong and Anchorage.
