Change of owner sees Goodyear FG-1D Corsair moving to Canada
Timmermans Legends of Flight announced the acquisition of Goodyear FG-1D Corsair BuNo 92050/N194G on 24 January, and the 1945-built fighter is scheduled to arrive at the organisation’s Chatham-Kent Municipal Airport base in Ontario soon. Pictured at Oshkosh, Wisconsin in July 2022 while operated by the Warbird Heritage Foundation, FG-1D Corsair BuNo 92050/N194G wears the markings of an NAS Glenview training aeroplane that would have given pilots new to the type experience of landings on the Great Lakes training carriers USS
