Chile to receive three Black Hawks in 2018

THE FUERZA Aérea de Chile (FACh, Chilean Air Force) expects to receive its first three S-70i Black Hawk helicopters in August 2018. Chile purchased a total of six S-70i helicopters in 2016 from Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, part of the Lockheed Martin group, in order to increase the FACh’s operational capabilities. The aircraft are produced in Poland by PZL Mielec, a Sikorsky subsidiary. The Black Hawks are now undergoing initial acceptance at the factory prior to beginning the installation of equipment
