Chinooks llamados a desplazar F-80 Shooting Star reacondicionados
Dos helicópteros Boeing CH-47F Chinook (números de serie 12-08869 y 12-08874) pertenecientes a la Compañía B del 171º Regimiento de Aviación de la Guardia Nacional del Ejército de Iowa volaron desde su base en el Aeropuerto Municipal de Davenport el 11 de abril para recoger un avión Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star de la época de la Guerra de Corea de las instalaciones de pintura de la Guardia Nacional Aérea en Sioux City.

El Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star fue el primer avión a reacción de la Fuerza Aérea del Ejército de los Estados Unidos (USAAF) cuando se introdujo a mediados de la década de 1940 y sirvió en la USAF hasta 1959. Chile fue el último operador del Shooting Star y la Fuerza Aérea chilena retiró sus últimos ejemplares del tipo en 1974.
