Colimata has announced the Concorde FXP version 3 is now available for X-Plane 12.

The package features PBR (Physically Based Rendering) effects and optional 4K or 2K textures to save VRAM. The Olympus 593 engines are modelled with animated ramps intake/spill doors, primary/secondary nozzles and engine cowl doors. It also sports FMOD 3D sounds with effects such as audio advice from the co-pilot, engineer and captain.

Other highlights include rain effects on the windscreen, operational passenger and cargo doors, a 3D passenger cabin and ground equipment such as tankers, conveyors, catering and a pushback truck.

The flight deck has fully functional crew stations for the captain, co-pilot and flight engineer with automatic or manual trim fuel trimming, custom lighting and improved systems functionality, including a CIVA Inertial Navigation System. It also sports a fully featured autopilot and an extensive user interface with features such as route loading, flight preparation, aircraft management and checklists.

The flight model has a standard or pro setting; the latter features realistic take-off and landing characteristics, a refined subsonic and supersonic flight model and accurate thrust simulation.
Concorde FXP version 3 is available on x-plane.org for $59.95.
