The Connecticut Airport Authority has introduced its new mobile food ordering platform at Bradley International.
The service – developed in partnership with Servy, the self-service hospitality innovation – allows passengers to pre-order and collect meals from a selection of the hub’s restaurants.

“This new service is another example of how we continue to evolve and embrace technology to elevate the customer experience at the airport,” said Kevin Dillon, executive director of the Connecticut Airport Authority. “Bradley Airport is already known and recognised for making travel easy. Now, we are adding one more measure that enhances the overall convenience and ease of travel.”
Jeff Livney, chief experience officer at Servy, added: “BDL Market offers a safe and convenient touch-free alternative to traditional payment options enabling travellers and airport staff to easily place meal orders from digital devices. As travel continues to return this summer, Bradley International Airport is providing passengers in New England a modern, contactless service that will enhance their overall experience during their journey.”
Customers can access the software by going onto the airport’s website or by scanning one of the QR codes on display throughout the site.
During the pandemic, the Connecticut hub was amongst the first airports to introduce the face covering requirement and on-site Covid-19 testing. Additionally, it was also one of the initial sites to receive the health accreditation from the Airports Council International (ACI) World.
