easyJet has signed a long-term agreement to use ELMS Aviation's competence and compliance software solution.
The ELMS solution will play a key role in easyJet’s continuous improvement programme providing the airline with high levels of visibility of personnel competence. ELMS offers a 360° solution to evaluate the key elements of competence – knowledge, skills and attitude – in a secure cloud-based platform, helping users ensure compliance with the latest regulations. By utilising cloud computing technology, ELMS has developed a solution that provides organisations with a robust management system offering first level assurance of competence standards.
The first phase of the implementation has already taken place at easyJet’s Liverpool base, with the wider roll-out of the product to be carried out at the airline’s maintenance locations over the coming months.
easyJet head of insourced maintenance Adrian Evans said: ‘’As part of our commitment to continuous improvement we are pleased to work with ELMS to provide a streamlined solution for the management and tracking of staff competence and skills development of our EASA Part-145 teams.”
