British low-cost carrier, easyJet launched a new service last weekend between Glasgow and Newquay for the first time.
Flights to the Cornish town are now operating twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays during the summer season. Customers travelling from the Scottish city are able to reach the southern coast in around 90 minutes.

“We are delighted to be celebrating the launch of our new service from Glasgow to Newquay for the first time, further strengthening our domestic UK network and providing more opportunity for our customers in Scotland to book a trip this summer,” said Ali Gayward, easyJet’s UK county manager.
Ronald Leitch, operations director at Glasgow Airport, added: “easyJet’s decision earlier this year to introduce what is a brand new destination for the airline has proved extremely popular with Scottish travellers looking to enjoy a staycation in one of England’s most popular coastal areas.”
