The final three H145Ms were handed over to the FAE in Germany on April 20, 2021, but all six examples had initially remained in the European nation for training purposes. Ecuador placed an order for these helicopters on November 27, 2019. The first two H145Ms were handed over to the FAE on October 27, 2020.
Following their shipment to Ecuador, a formal induction ceremony was held for these helicopters at Base Aérea Simon Bolivar (Simon Bolivar Air Base), which located in the nation’s Guayas province, on May 18. However, it remains unconfirmed whether all six H145Ms had arrived in-country at that stage.
