Embraer E190-E2 enters service with Scoot
Scoot, the low-cost subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, started revenue flights with the Embraer E190-E2 on May 2, 2024. Scoot’s first E190-E2, 9V-THA (c/n 20127), is named Explorer 3.0 and its initial revenue flight was a return service from Singapore’s Changi Airport to Krabi, Thailand.A launch event was held at Changi prior to the departure to Krabi, attended by Chee Hong Tat, Singapore’s Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Finance.‘Explorer 3.0’ will enable the increase the frequency of Scoot’s flights
