Emirates brings A380 back to Glasgow as pandemic recovery picks up pace
For the first time since 2019, an Emirates Airbus A380 touched down in Glasgow, marking a further milestone in the Middle Eastern carrier’s post-pandemic recovery in the UK. The iconic double-decker received a warm welcome by Scottish bagpipe players as it taxied to stand this afternoon (March 26). “We restarted [at Glasgow] in August 2021 and flights have done consistently well since then so being able to upgrade the current daily 777 to an A380 is just a natural evolution
